Smuggling of agricultural urea was going on for a long time in plywood factories located in Yamunanagar district of Haryana, after which the Agriculture Department immediately stopped the supply of 700 private dealers.

Along with this, now urea packs will be made available to the farmers through the centers by the order of the Agriculture Department. It is being told that Neem-Coated Urea used in agriculture was being smuggled in these plywood factories for a long time. In these factories, this urea was used to make Glue.
To make Glue, the government gives Technical Grade urea to the businessmen of these factories, which costs them about Rs.3000 per bag and if we talk about Neem Coated Urea, it costs only Rs.267 per bag.

In this way, these businessmen did Black Marketing through government urea, which is sent by the government to the farmers’ fields. Using this urea, these businessmen made a profit of around Rs.2700 per bag and this was going on for many years.
Apart from Agriculture Department, members of CM Flying have also raided many plywood factories, in which neem coated urea was found to be used in many factories and it is being told that in this year, about 9 cases FIR related to urea smuggling have been registered.
