The First Station of India’s First Bullet Train will be Built in Surat, Gujarat
National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is working on the project of bullet train. According to this project, a long bridge is being built on the Narmada river, which will be about 1.26 km long, which is estimated to be completed by 2024.
India’s Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav says that this direction is appropriate for the progress and progress of the country and the target of the country’s first bullet train will be completed by 2026. This train will be the first bullet train in the country to run between Surat and Bilimora in Gujarat.
Some officials related to NHSRCL say that four stations are being built for the track of the train, these stations are being built in the cities of Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, Bharuch in Gujarat.
So far 98.62% (941.13 hectares out of 954.28 hectares) of land has been acquired in the state of Gujarat for this project. In addition to the construction of four stations between the bullet train running between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, a 237-km-long Viaduct ie Setu Marg will also be constructed.
