The PSLV Rocket carrying two satellites of ISRO, Singapore will be launched today i.e. on April 22, Saturday. The countdown of 25 hours and 30 minutes had already started at 12:50 PM on Friday itself and the Liftoff would be at 2:20 PM (Indian time) today. India’s PSLV rocket, which is now the oldest and most flown rocket in the country, is about to make its 57th launch with this mission.
Both TeLEOS-2 and Lumelite-4, weighing 741 kg and 16 kg respectively, belong to Singapore, and are said to be launched into low inclination eastward orbits.

PSLV-C55 is a dedicated commercial mission by NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of ISRO, for an international satellite customer in Singapore.
PS-4 fourth stage of PSLV rocket will be used for this experiment. The rocket is being used to launch the Orbital Experimental Module (POEM). In other words, the purpose of this experiment is to see how many more satellite orbits can be added to a polar orbit.
