Modi Government now in Action on Employment, Central Government will Give 10 Lakh Jobs in One and a Half Year
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that he will now provide 10 lakh jobs in 18 months i.e. one and a half year. For this, he has instructed to work more and more on “Mission Mode”. Even before this, PM Narendra Modi had said on June 2 that the maximum focus should be on employment. Along with this, he also talked about filling up vacant posts in ministries and government departments.
In India in April 2020, the unemployment rate had come down to 23.5 percent during Corona. By December 2021, this figure had come down to 7.9 per cent. In the year 2022, this unemployment figure rose to 8.1 percent in February, 7.6 percent in March and again increased to 7.8 percent in April.
In the last few years, due to the Corona epidemic, the country’s economy was badly affected and could not develop. At that time there was a shortage of jobs and those who had work were not able to even work, because the whole country was under curfew. The impact of this epidemic was on food, education and medicines as well as everything. Due to which the entire economy got ruined.
Earlier in April last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had held a meeting with the high officials of the government on this subject, in which he asked to take the process of filling up the vacant posts in various departments of the government first.
Now this recruitment will be started under various departments and ministries of the central government. This step of the Government of India is expected to provide relief to crores of youth of the country. After reviewing the status of employees in all departments and ministries, PM Modi ordered to give these jobs.
